More of Hamish
Hamish is now six months old. He is, despite how these pictures look, considerably less ginger than when he first appeared. Must be something to do with the light or flash on the camera I think. He is rolling over a lot, trying to crawl but can't figure out what to do after he hoiks his arse up in the air, sitting up mostly by himself (can't get up yet but can stay up if put there) but stil falls every few minutes, frequently less.
He smiles and laughs all the time (except when he's hungry, when he sounds like a pig stuck under a gate). When both boys are awake he watches Callum continuously, and as soon as he starts crawling we're pretty sure he'll just follow him around all day. The dog (who is still staying with us, but probably not for much longer as Jen's folks should be getting their house finished within a week or two) currently trails along directly behind Callum so when they are all in the same house it'll be like a congo.

Pics and news
Have been a little tardy on the blogging front. Due to repeated requests for pictures of Hamish and Jen here are a few...
The boys in their stroller. Hamish has a new crop of hair which is still ginger, just a bit less so.
Same again, a little closer.
Me, Jen and Saul (one of the guys I work with) at Saul's 30th birthday. You can see how lardy I am getting.
Recent news is as follows:
- had a visit from the Malabons (Jen and John) who are doing a quick tour of Oz and NZ before Jen has to return to work seeing as she has just graduated from medical school (for those who don't know, Jen is the dentist who I used to live below and work with in Dunfermline where she was the maxillofacial SHO). They were here for a week so we bought a patio heater to sit on the deck table and sit outside drinking wine. Very good to see them and make them look after the kids. I don't think they changed a single nappy between them though so they may not get invited back.
- started cycling to work to stop being so lardy. It's a 12 mile round trip and very hilly, so I am now much fitter but just as fat.
- it's cold. The house is not designed at all for cold weather so we have to have heaters on.
- that's about it
